Lawyers seeking proof of adultery often subpoena cell phone records. When there is an affair, these records will usually show multiple calls per day, long calls and calls at odd hours and early morning hours. If you are suspicious of an affair, the first place to look is the cell phone for texts and the cell phone bill for these unusual calls. If your spouse is savvy to this, they have a couple of technological tools to hide the verbal contact. One is a pre paid or “pay as you go” phone which can be purchased at almost any cell phone store and even Walmart. When both parties use these phones, there is no record of any call and no bill. If your spouse has such a phone, this is a sure red flag. Another technology is an iPhone app known as the “tigertext” app. This app destroys any text as soon as it is read, thus leaving no evidence. So, if you see this app on your spouses’ phone, that is a sure fire sign of shenanigans.
