Mark Chinn recently joined host Tyler Dolph on the Sterling Family Law Show to talk about pricing, specialization, and AI in his Jackson, Mississippi family law practice. Mark shared that he moved away from billing by the hour back in 2005, and that nine out of ten of his clients now choose a one-time lump-sum fee over phased pricing. He also discussed how, after 48 years in practice, he's built an AI-assisted assessment process (which he calls "Mark's Robot") that turns a recorded client conference into a full written case assessment, and how his firm now uses an AI agent to help manage calendaring, email, calls, and document drafting.
