Hope intentionally tailored her legal education toward children’s law and domestic relations, becoming the only member of her graduating class to earn a Certificate in Juvenile and Family Legal Studies. Throughout law school, she served as a Guardian ad Litem in chancery court proceedings across Hinds, Madison, and Lincoln Counties, representing the interests of children and families in adoption, termination of parental rights, and custody matters. She also clerked for both chancery and appellate court judges, gaining valuable insight into the judicial process from multiple perspectives.
In addition to her legal career, Hope proudly serves in the Mississippi Army National Guard as a Human Resources Noncommissioned Officer and is one of a select number of female paratroopers within the organization. Throughout her military service, she has received recognition for her work with the Adjutant General Corps during training operations at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and for her service as an Intelligence Analyst with the Mississippi Counterdrug Task Force. In Fall 2026, Hope will commission into the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where she will continue serving Soldiers and their families across Mississippi as a JAG officer.
